Does my audio get uploaded?

Not for live dictation — Ambiakshi never receives the microphone stream. Chrome may still send audio to Google for recognition. Files upload only after you press PRO transcribe.

Does it support Tamil?

Yes for live dictation with locale ta-IN (Chrome/Edge). Language detection reads the Tamil Unicode block on-device. xAI file STT currently lists Hindi among Indic languages but not Tamil; use live dictation or paste for Tamil novels.

Is accent detection biometric?

No. It flags lexical cues (Indian English, Tamil script mix, British spelling). It cannot identify a speaker.
